To perform a wildcard search when the full name is unknown, it is possible to place an asterisk (*) at the beginning or end of the name. For example, when searching for the name Mary Alvarado, entering ALV* in the search box will display any name that starts with those three letters in the search results list. Similarly, entering *rado in the search box will display any name that contains those letters in the search results list.
  1. When the data has been entered in the field(s), click   . A list of patients will display with their information: 
  2. From here, several actions can be performed such as Archive or Add Notes. To do this, click on the selected patient(s) and then click the Selected Actions dropdown on the top right of the screen. Then select an action. 
  3.  Confirm any pop-up window to complete the action.
