Yes, the Claim.MD API supports including multiple benefit or service codes in a single eligibility request, and those codes are sent correctly to the payer. However, for some payers, their systems are only able to return benefit details when a single service code is submitted per request.
In these cases, you may receive benefit information when submitting a single code (such as PT), but receive no results when submitting multiple codes together (such as PT,42).
To ensure complete and accurate benefit information for these payers, we recommend submitting separate eligibility requests for each service code. For example, submit one request for PT and a separate request for 42.
