# Where can I find the ISA13 number?

The **ISA13** is a unique identifier within an electronic claim submission, used to track and reference files between the sender and payer. In Claim.MD, the **Transmit #** in the claim history corresponds to the ISA13 value, serving as the unique file identifier for a submission. This is particularly useful if a payer requests the ISA13 for troubleshooting or tracking a specific file.

## Instructions for Finding the ISA13 Number in Claim.MD

2. In the history/notes section, look for the Transmit #. This corresponds directly to the ISA13 number.

10-Digit Number

The ISA13 value submitted to the payer is a 10-digit number, but it is sometimes padded with a leading zero. Ex: 26377210 or **0**26377210
