Updated Reporting Page Overview

Effective Date: Week of June 17-18, 2025
Audience: All Claim.MD users with access to the Reporting feature

🔍 What’s New?

The Reporting page has received several enhancements to improve usability, data continuity, and support accessibility. This article provides an overview of what has changed and how to interact with the updated interface.

🟩 “New Report” Now Integrated as a Green Panel

The “New Report” function is no longer a standalone button at the top of the Reporting page. Instead, it now appears as a green panel embedded directly within the report window for more intuitive access.

🧭 How to Use:

  1. Navigate to the Reporting page in the left menu.

  2. Locate the green “New Report” panel within the report window.

  3. Click the panel to open the Generate Report pop-up.

This pop-up contains all the same filter options as before:

  • Report Type

  • Claim Group

  • Time Frame

  • Select By
some browsers enable drag-n-drop only when dataTransfer has data

Once your selections are made, click Generate to begin processing your report.

⏳ Longer Reports Now Show “Processing” Status

If your report takes longer than usual to complete, the system will now display a “Processing” status. This indicates that the report is still generating and you should check back shortly.

This eliminates confusion over whether the report is working or stalled.

📁 View Up to 100 Past Reports

You can now view a historical list of up to 100 previously run reports. This new functionality ensures consistent reporting data—even if filters or backend data change later on.

📘 Why This Matters:

Previously, rerunning a report could yield slightly different results. Now, users can:

  • Refer back to older data snapshots

  • Avoid unnecessary reruns

  • Maintain audit trails

👤 Reports Are Now User-Specific

Your Past Reports list is tied to your Claim.MD user profile. Each person will only see the reports they’ve personally generated.
