# Search Page

### Searching for Claims

1. Click on **Search** in the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Enter search criteria such as Patient Last Name and Billing NPI.

More InformationEntering data into fields such as Account #, Policy #, Patient Last Name, Payer ID, Billing NPI, Billing Tax ID, First Date of Service, Rejected Claim Last Response, and Claim MD Claim # will reveal additional search criteria fields to refine the search.

### Wildcard Search

More InformationUse an asterisk (*) for wildcard searches if the full name is unknown. For example:

- Searching **ALV*** will display names starting with "ALV"
- Searching ***rado** will display names containing "rado"

### Viewing Search Results

1. After entering criteria, click . The patient list will appear.

2. Select a patient to perform actions like **Archive** or **Add Notes**.

3. Confirm any pop-up to complete the action.

### Search Criteria Definitions

| **Billing NPI** | 10-digit National Provider Identifier. | Block 33a | Block 56 |
