How to Submit Workers’ Compensation and Auto Claims with Required Attachments in Claim.MD

Prev Next

You will submit Workers’ Compensation (W/C) and auto claims through your regular claim batch, just as you would any other claim. After submission, Claim.MD will automatically return a reminder rejection message indicating that supporting documentation may be required:

REJECT: Workers comp/auto claim may require attachment. Re-submit claim to bypass this rejection.

This reminder ensures that any necessary notes or documents are attached before the claim proceeds. After you receive this rejection, open the claim in Claim.MD and follow the steps below:

  1. At the top of the claim, select the correct Attachment Type from the dropdown menu.

  2. Use Attach Documents to upload your progress notes in PDF format. To do this, export or print your notes to a PDF file, then upload that file to the claim.

For No Documentation Cases
If you determine that no documentation is required for a particular claim, you may simply save the claim again to bypass or remove the rejection/warning.
