Move ERA for all payers to a new account
- If the goal is to move ERA for all payers to a new account:
- The provider should reach out to their billing company or the previous software provider.
- Instruct the provider/biller to delete the provider enrollment by following these steps:
- Navigate to the provider record in the Provider Enrollment page.
- Click the Edit button next to the provider record.
- Within the Edit Provider window, scroll down and click the Delete Provider button at the bottom.
Move ERA for specific payers to a new account:
- If the goal is to only cease ERA transmissions for specific payers:
- In the Provider Enrollment page, select the Provider record.
- Click on the ERA enrollment link that's already completed/enrolled.
- Click on the "Stop" button.
- After reading the warning saying that this action will prevent ERA from posting to your account, click Confirm Stop ERA. This action will halt ERA transmissions from that payer to the provider through Claim.MD.
- In the Provider Enrollment page, select the Provider record.
If Provider/Biller Can't Delete Provider or Communication Issue:
- In cases where the provider/biller cannot delete the provider or is unable to communicate with the software company managing their account:
- Create a support ticket with Claim.MD.
- Clearly specify the need for the removal of the provider enrollment in the support ticket.
