MORE INFORMATIONOnly an **Administrative User** can access and update the **Account Settings** page.IMPORTANTAfter making any changes in **Account Settings**, click at the bottom of the page to apply your updates. --- ## Account Information The **Account Information** section contains the general practice or organization details associated with the account. | \| **Company / Practice Name** \| Displays the legal or business name associated with the account. \| \| --- \| --- \| \| **Address** \| Enter the account mailing or business address. IMPORTANTTurning on SFTP access requires administrator access and password verification using your Claim.MD password. | \| **SFTP Active** \| Enables or disables SFTP access for the account. \| \| --- \| --- \| \| **SFTP Username** \| The username used to connect through an SFTP client. \| \| **SFTP Password** \| The password used to connect through an SFTP client. Administrative users can generate an account API key directly from the **API Key** section of **Account Settings**. IMPORTANTGenerating an API key requires administrator access and password verification using the same Claim.MD password used to sign in. | \| **API Key** \| Displays the account API key area for the organization. \| \| --- \| --- \| \| **Generate API Key** \| Click to create a new API key for the account. \| \| **Password Verification** \| Enter your Claim.MD password when prompted to confirm the action. \| \| **Copy API Key** \| Use the copy icon after the key is generated to transfer it into your connected software. \| \| **Delete API Key** \| Delete the current key if it is no longer needed, then generate a new one if required. \| ### Generate an API Key 1. Go to **Settings > Account Settings**. 2. Locate the **API Key** panel. 3. Click . 4. Enter your Claim.MD password when prompted. 5. Confirm the action to generate the key. 6. Copy the API key using the clipboard icon and enter it into your connected software, if needed. SECURITY TIPIf an API key is lost or shared in error, delete it and generate a new one.
